Ricciardo wins in Monaco again

ISR's Daniel Ricciardo drove a faultless race from pole position to win his second Monaco Formula Renault 3.5 event. It was Ricciardo's second victory of the season, following his success at Monza two weeks ago, and promoted the Toro Rosso Friday practice Formula 1 driver from seventh to fifth in the drivers' standings

The twosome battled for the NASCAR iRacing.com Class C Series title in two of the past three seasons. Summit Point Raceway is the de facto home track for the inRacingNews Challenge, and Week Three of the second iRNC season of 2011 saw teams come home for the second time in three weeks, running the track?s full configuration. With championship battles heating-up in both the Pontiac Solstice and SpecRacer Ford classes, establishing a presence at the front of the pack was integral for all of the series? top sim racers. In the end, perfect weeks from Alessandro Fior (Solstice) and Gaston Taberner in (SRF) gave them bragging rights on the week. Taberner led every lap in his lone race from the pole to score 176 points, but Fior managed to repeat the feat four times, cementing him as one of Marius Golombeck?s top competitors for the Solstice class championship.
