Peugeot believes Thierry Neuville can now be regarded as a contender for victory on every Intercontinental Rally Challenge round after his breakthrough win in Corsica. Kronos' 22-year-old rising star moved into second place in the IRC standings by following up his Canarias podium with a maiden win on round three.

Alonso: Silverstone title crunch point

Fernando Alonso reckons the British Grand Prix in July will be the key indicator of whether Ferrari has any chance of fighting for this year's world championship. After falling 74 points behind leader Sebastian Vettel as the reigning champion took his fifth win of the year in Monaco yesterday, Alonso expressed concern that his world title hopes were looking remote. Angelelli, Taylor win again at Lime Rock

Max Angelelli and Ricky Taylor won the Memorial Day Weekend Classic for the second straight year Monday, cruising to the victory in Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series stop at Lime Rock Park. Taylor got his team off to a strong start by putting the No. 10 SunTrust Racing Chevrolet/Dallara on the pole in the Daytona Prototype class.
