Williams ?not giving up? on 2011

Williams is not giving up on the 2011 season despite its disappointing campaign so far, according to the team's chairman Adam Parr. The Grove-based squad endured its worst start to a season this year, only scoring its first points in the sixth round of the championship in Monaco. Williams has managed just four points in 11 races and it's in ninth place in the standings, 18 points behind Toro Rosso

Honda not underestimating Lorenzo

HRC team principal Shuhei Nakamoto says Honda must not underestimate the threat Jorge Lorenzo poses to Casey Stoner's championship lead, in spite of the Australian's superior win ratio - 5:2 ? and his 20-point advantage at the top of the standings. Honda's RC212V has been the most consistently competitive motorcycle this season, but Yamaha's reigning champion Lorenzo has finished no lower than second in the last three races and remains within striking distance of Stoner with eight races ? just under half the campaign - still to go. "Honda has won seven out of ten races so far," said Nakamoto.

Luhr and Graf win in Mid-Ohio deluge

Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf gave the Muscle Milk Lola-Aston squad its second straight ALMS victory as a late deluge caused the race to be halted 15 minutes from the finish. Luhr assumed control of the race with just over an hour to run, jumping the pole-sitting Dyson Lola-Mazda of Guy Smith and Simon Dyson - which had led for much of the race - at a restart before easing away at the head of the field. Luhr then handed over to Graf, who had to survive a huge rainstorm and a spate of safety cars in the final 30 minutes.
